EPCOT’s Impressive Eat to the Beat 2023 Lineup is "Flawless"

EPCOT has kept guests well-fed and entertained since 1995 with its International Food and Wine Festival.

The event presents over 25 food booths each featuring global cuisines from a particular country or region. Not only that, a killer lineup of artists each year perform at EPCOT’s American Gardens Theatre. The 2023 roster is especially jam-packed.

What is Eat to the Beat?

Though Food and Wine has been a staple Disney event since the mid 90s, the festival we know today is vastly different now than it was when it first began.

The concept of “entertainment” didn’t always entail big headlining musical acts. In fact, EPCOT mostly utilized their own cast members to amuse and delight guests while they ate. So, what changed?

The initial idea of the Food and Wine festival was an attempt to bring attendance back up during the slower tourism season in Orlando. This worked for quite some time, but as turnout dwindled once again, Disney had to get even more creative. They started drafting up ideas of things that could potentially bring in a bigger crowd.

What they landed on was the idea of expanding the pre-existing Eat to the Beat to where it would feature more well-known artists.
