What’s New at Disney Springs™

At the Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista, one of our favorite things about our hotel is its proximity to the beautiful Disney Springs™. We absolutely love being less than two miles away from the excitement. Disney Springs™ easily entertains the family for the day with its exotic restaurants, gorgeous scenery, and world-class shops, all created with signature Disney® charm.

In the past year or so, it’s undergone major renovations and still experiencing more great changes. One major change was its name change. In late September 2015, Downtown Disney® officially changed its name to Disney Springs™. The transformation has also brought some exciting and useful updates.

Newest to the Disney Springs™ neighborhood is “The Landing.” The Landing introduces about a dozen new restaurants and drink/snack stops into the mix along with a plethora of new shopping options. The most notable new restaurant might just be the Indiana Jones themed Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. The airplane hangar turned restaurant is filled with nostalgic decorations that transport you back to the 1940s and the adventures shared by Jock Lindsey and Indiana Jones.

Also noteworthy is the new Morimoto Asia, created by Chef Masaharu Morimoto. The pan-Asian restaurant features Morimoto’s signature take on favorite classic Asian dishes as well as an upscale sushi bar.

Two new parking garages are being opened, which will ease transportation accommodations for guests. In addition to all of these new installations, Disney Springs™ is getting revamped and restyled throughout.

We at Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista are extremely excited to watch the progress of these renovations and look forward to enjoying all that the new and improved Disney Springs™ has to offer.
