Ways to Celebrate New Years Eve in Orlando
Are you planning a trip to Orlando around New Years Eve? Lucky, lucky you! With NYE events and activities abound, your biggest problem will be choosing which one to attend. To help narrow your choices, we’ve put together a list of some of the top area offerings. The sooner you make your plans and arrangements, the better—and it could save you money! Let’s get started.
EVE at Universal CityWalk
For some adult partying, EVE is a definite go-to! You get access to music and dancing at six clubs at CityWalk, gourmet food, and a midnight Champagne toast to bring in the new year with extra fanfare. The starting ticket price is $109.99, but you can save $30 if you purchase yours before December 15.
Walt Disney World
If an amusement park party is more to your taste, you’ve got options. It’s Orlando after all, and three of the Disney World parks are throwing NYE bashes.
• Magic Kingdom – Join the Frontierland Celebration Dance party from 7 p.m. until close. There’s also a fireworks show on Dec. 30 and 31 at ten minutes before midnight – Fantasy in the Sky.
• Epcot – Dance the day away Dec. 31 with a live DJ at the American Garden and the Future World Fountain stages, culminating with a fireworks display at 11:40 p.m.
•Hollywood Studios – Hit the dance floor at Center Stage at 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. with a DJ spinning your favorite tunes. At 9 p.m. the DJ does take a break to let Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! perform live music. You will also get to watch a midnight performance of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.
