The Backstreet Boys Come Home to Orlando
You wouldn’t believe who is back and better than ever. That’s right, The Backstreet Boys (BSB) are debuting their latest album, DNA, live at Orlando’s Amway Center on Saturday, August 24. This will be their biggest tour in 18 years and you won’t want to miss it.
Going Back to Their Roots
The BSB got their big break in their hometown of Orlando back in 1993. Their first performance ever was at SeaWorld Orlando. They continued to perform in local venues until they grew big enough to mount their first U.S tour a few years later. Considering BSB fans haven’t seen the boys live since their 2011 NKOTBSB Tour with New Kids on the Block, fans have been waiting patiently for this moment.
What Is DNA All About?
Their album focuses on the importance of each member and how they help the group as a whole. A January 2019 press release states that BSB “analyzed their own individual DNA profiles to discover what crucial element each member represents in the group’s DNA.” BSB member Howie D. states, “When this group started 26 years ago — and through all the highs and lows of our career — we’ve had to learn it wasn’t about us as individuals but about what’s best for the group.” Some of their new songs on the album include “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” “Nobody Else,” and “Chances.”
