Lake Buena Vista Hotel Reviews

See What Others Have Said About Their Stay

While we consider ourselves one of the best hotels in Orlando, it only matters if our guests agree. If you’re planning a visit to Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista, we invite you to see us through the eyes of your fellow travelers by reading the hotel reviews below.

This is the 2nd time at this hotel and it was just as good. The rooms have everything you want. Comfy beds; air-con was good. The rooms we had suited us. If you want a quieter room ask for a carpark view. The staff are always great and this time was no different especially as we were caught in hurricane Ian. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was looked after. The restaurant was good offering a range of hot food and Mickey waffles

We stayed here for 10 nights and it was exactly what we needed. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children who were going to theme parks and didn’t need anything fancy, only a place to sleep and shower.

The place is affordable and basic. Yes the rooms are dated but we found them clean and the beds spacious. If we were to do the theme parks we would definitely stay here again. Better to save money on accommodation so we can spend more at Disney ;)

We only spent one day at the pool but it was fine. Clean and spacious.

This hotel is great if you are on a budget and just doing Disney. It’s around 5-10 mins to Disney property in a car. We used Ubers every day to the parks and back. Paying between $8-$13 a trip, which for me is less stressful (had no issues getting a ride) than hiring a car and parking in Disney, and much cheaper. The hotel is dated but clean, you get what you pay for. I would recommend pre-booking the buffet; this is a great way to fill up before going to the parks. We had a room on the ground floor right next to the pool, so it was perfect for relaxing after a day in the parks. We usually then got an Uber to a restaurant/got a food delivery or walked to the Olive Garden. The room is clean enough, but I would take your own towels as the ones provided are tiny, same as the pillows. I’d also say the rooms are a little dark; luckily, with this type of holiday you don’t spend much time in them but for the price it costs, I can’t really complain.

I stayed at the Rosen in for 10 days from 10th June. We booked this hotel as it was close to the Disney parks and was within our price range. As soon as we arrived, we realized this hotel is brilliant. The check in was smooth, the rooms were easy to access, and there was more than enough space for the two of us. I felt really safe staying at the Rosen. We also used the free shuttles to the Disney parks, even though they are at 9 and 10 a.m., we still thought they were brilliant. I also liked that you could sit around the hotel and relax. The only thing we found is the shop in the hotel is really expensive, but there are no prices, so it’s only when you get to the till you find out the price. Overall, an amazing stay with lots of great restaurants and facilities nearby. I will 100% stay here again if I come back to Orlando. Thank you for making it a great holiday.

This hotel is smack in the middle of all the parks and shopping/restaurants. A warm and friendly welcome awaits. Very clean, attractive grounds. Rooms are cleaned daily. The all-you-can-eat breakfast fills you up for the day. To-go drinks were also offered. We were sad to say goodbye to the lovely staff. Easy to order Lyft/Ubers from here. They arrive in minutes. We will be sure to return in the future. The Rosen Inn is a family-feeling place to stay.

I will visit again. It’s a place to stay — clean, comfortable, quiet — everything you need in a hotel. I will recommend it to anybody; it’s close to everywhere that will be my next stop. This year, my stay will be in Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista Orlando. No question about it.

Clean, well-maintained rooms with excellent air conditioning. Good size TV, plenty of USB ports and sockets, comfy beds and pillows, good size fridge and microwave — everything you need to enjoy your stay. Very helpful staff and staying here is ideal. The pool is equipped with towels and plenty of sun loungers.

Fantastic location, fantastic staff. Nothing was too much of a bother. Our server at breakfast, Jill, made our mornings every time she was on duty. Free shuttle bus, but limited times. We just got either Lynx bus or Lyft if we needed to go earlier. We tended to eat dinner in the bar area. Hubby enjoyed the happy hour! Yes, the rooms are dated, but they have all you need to make your stay comfortable. Beds are comfy, microwave and fridge in room along with a coffee machine. Toaster is available in reception should you need to toast anything. We missed a kettle but bought one whilst there. I used the laundry before returning home and for $8 it was well worth it!

Me and my wife recently stayed for 14 nights. Our room was a good size. Very clean. Good facilities. The breakfast we had included was fantastic. A great range of food. Pastries, fruit, warm food, and of course, the best part of breakfast, the Mickey waffles. The staff are all very friendly. Jill, who worked on the floor, is a very pleasant and friendly and helpful lady who was nice to chat with. TJ was very polite and helpful to our needs both in the breakfast area and the bar. All in all, a very satisfactory place to stay. Just double check the free shuttle times as TUI did not specify them properly.

This place is located just where we needed it, near Disney Springs, one of the outlet malls and I-4 to continue our trip. Truthfully, it's pretty basic. Check in and out was relatively easy. Rooms are clean; nice amenities. The buffet breakfast is reasonably priced but did not appeal to us, so we went elsewhere. I used my AARP discount, and it was quite affordable for Orlando.

Comfortable hotel in a great location for all the parks. Despite the hotel having building work going on, we never heard any noise, and the hotel was great in supporting our request for a high room overlooking the car park. Only issues we had were with the room key, but that was because the door lock batteries had run out, but security were very attentive and helpful, and maintenance sorted this straight away. The pillows are a bit on the small and soft side for me, but the room was clean, and the maids were in everyday of our stay and did a great job.

The best value of any hotel you’re going to find in Orlando. I stay there sometimes two to three times a year. Same great experience every time.

It is a simple hotel but has reasonable prices and everything you may need. They have a nice playground for the kids (also an arcade). The boardwalk buffet restaurant is inside the hotel. It’s very convenient with a reasonably priced dinner, considering you can eat and drink all you want. You need to ask the waiter for the drinks, but water, Coke, and juice are unlimited. There is also a convenience store in the hotel with some things to take to the parks (water, Coke, etc.) and some things to prepare in the room (noodles, etc.). They provide disposable fork/knives, salt, sugar, etc. Everything is simple, but everything works. Free Wi-Fi. No resort fees. No parking fees. No surprise fees. 15 minutes from Disney parks. Do not expect any luxury; you won't find any. Everything is simple. Bed is regular sized. Towels and pillows are a bit smaller. Corridor floors are of cement. But it is a nice hotel with a reasonable price. Our stay was very pleasant, and we will surely come back someday. Only suggestion would be to have water filters available for guests; that would be extremely useful (they have ice machines, though).

Dear Mr. Rosen, if you’re reading this, I would just like to tell you that you have the most amazing staff working at this hotel. One stands out from all the rest — JILL from the restaurant. What an amazing lady. You should be so proud you have her working for you. She looked after us every morning. Nothing was too much trouble. She deserves a medal for everything she does. I can honestly say breakfast would not have been the same without her. We really enjoyed our stay. Beds were made with clean sheets every day. The room was always a pleasure to come back to when being in the busy parks all day. There’s only one thing that needs changing: the shuttle times there are not very good at all. Apart from that, it was a pleasure staying at your lovely hotel.

The hotel itself was nice, and the maid tidied up our room and gave fresh towels every day, which we appreciated. We didn’t use the pool facilities as we didn’t have time, and we visited Volcano Bay at Universal anyway, but they looked good. But what I really feel is worth a mention is the restaurant. The food was really, really good! Good selection and always something my boys (7 and 4) would eat. The Mickey waffles for breakfast in the A.M. were especially a hit with all of us. One member of staff in particular stood out to us (Jill Osborne). We nicknamed this lady our ‘holiday mom’ because she went above and beyond! She took care of us every time we were there when she was on shift. She made sure we were never out of coffee, and the kids were never out of juice. She fetched us anything we possibly needed and looked after us so well that we didn’t realize until our second or third visit to the restaurant that we could actually refill our drinks ourselves because we never needed to! She even made us Mickey waffles on our first breakfast in the restaurant and brought over a tray of syrup, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles, marshmallows, etc., despite it actually being ‘self-service.’ She cleared our dirty plates and bowls as soon as we were done, so we never had to make space on the table for fresh plates of food if we decided to have something else. The restaurant itself was always clean because she was so efficient. She went above and beyond in every single way! We loved her!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Excellent value for money in such a great location in relation to Disney parks. It’s also close to lots of different restaurants and supermarkets. The rooms were spacious and clean. They had great amenities, which allowed us to buy our own food to store in fridge and a microwave to heat/cook. Lots of parking available, and the fact that it is free for hotel guests is a brilliant value! The staff were nice and friendly. My only downside is there isn’t much shade at the pool, and as we had a toddler with us, we couldn’t stay at the pool for as long as we needed shade. But lots of beds and free towels here. It is located close to I-4, and we could hear traffic from our room, but it wasn’t disruptive and didn’t affect our stay. We are planning another family holiday to Florida and will definitely be staying here again.
