Holiday Festivities at Walt Disney World Resort
The most wonderful time of the year starts November 11, 2022, at Walt Disney World Resort. Each Disney theme park will offer festive fun this holiday season.
Here’s what to expect at your favorite Orlando park.
Magic Kingdom
The happiest place on Earth becomes even more magical during the holidays.
Main Street, U.S.A. is lined with seasonal décor. Each night, Cinderella Castle will dazzle with themed light projections. As you make your way through Magic Kingdom, look out for exclusive holiday treats.
Returning for 2022 is the after-hours Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Enjoy live entertainment, parades, and fireworks on select nights in November and December.
EPCOT
Get a taste of how the holidays are celebrated around the world. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is back for 2022.
Head to the World Showcase for unique holiday kitchens, a fun cookie stroll, and live shows.
The Candlelight Processional is an iconic EPCOT event. A celebrity narrator will recount the Nativity story. Meanwhile, an orchestra and choir will perform classic Christmas songs. The Processional runs nightly from November 25 to December 30, 2022.
New for 2022 is the Guardians of the Galaxy holiday overlay. Rock out to a mashup of holiday favorites while riding Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios will transform into a winter wonderland.
Holiday décor will fill the park, from the entrance back to Toy Story Land. All through the holidays, festive projections will appear on the Hollywood Tower Hotel. And Santa will make appearances on Hollywood Boulevard in his Santa Claus Merry Motorcade
When it’s time to eat, meet Minnie Mouse at Hollywood & Vine. Minnie’s Holiday Dine features a big buffet and merry meet and greets.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
At Animal Kingdom, a Merry Menagerie of arctic animal puppets will bring Discovery Island to life. Percussionists will break into holiday beats at the Discovery Island Drummers Festive Flotilla. And Santa Claus will sail down the Discovery River in a flotilla of his own.
