New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World®
New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest celebrations at Walt Disney World® each year, and 2017 is shaping up to be no different. From unforgettable celebrations in the theme parks to upscale dining
and dancing, you are free to choose how you want to ring in the New Year. Elaborate fireworks displays will fill the night skies at the stroke of midnight, and visitors can expect more live entertainment in addition to the Christmas decorating and theming that Disney is famous for worldwide.

Fantasy in the Sky
Perhaps the most iconic fireworks display anywhere, the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom Park is the ultimate way to welcome the New Year! Don’t miss seeing the famous Magic Kingdom castle set against a backdrop of spectacular fireworks that only happens once a year. The show is set to take place on December 30 and December 31, starting at 11:50 p.m.
New Year’s Countdown Fireworks
If you’re one of the many die-hard Epcot fans out there, the final tribute to 2017 put on in the park is one you won’t want to miss. The New Year’s Countdown Fireworks show at Epcot is a dazzling showcase to ring in the New Year with those closest to you. The one-night celebration begins at 11:40 p.m. on December 31 only!
New Year’s Eve Dance Party at Center Stage
For those looking to move to the sound of music at the close of 2017, Center Stage at Disney Hollywood Studios is the place you’ll want to be. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with a DJ dance party, followed by a special performance of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! at 9:00 p.m.
Afterwards, there will be a park-wide countdown to the New Year, followed by a special presentation of the projected light show, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. To finish out the night, the DJ will be spinning music until 1:00 a.m.!
