2022 International Food & Wine Festival: A Gourmet Guide

Calling all foodies — the International Food & Wine Festival is returning to Walt Disney World for 2022. Between July 14 and November 19, the scents of global gourmet and sounds of music greats will waft through the air at the EPCOT World Showcase.

Here’s what Disney is cooking up for the tastiest event of the year.

Feast on Food from All Over

As the name suggests, food and drink take center stage at the International Food & Wine Festival.

EPCOT is always a great place to enjoy global cuisine. But during the festival, the park goes all out, serving limited-edition small plates. You can sample new menu items in the 11 countries featured at EPCOT year-round. Or try bites from cuisines only featured during the International Food & Wine Festival.

Here are a few of the delightful dishes on the 2022 International Food & Wine Festival menu:

• Tacos al pastor (Mexico)
• Impossible™ sliders (Earth Eats)
• SPAM® nigiri (Hawaii)
• Chorizo and shrimp paella (Spain)
• Salmon donburi (Japan)
• Plant-based chili macaroni and cheese (Mac & Eats)
• Kenyan coffee barbecued beef tenderloin (Kenya)
• Grilled bush berry shrimp (Australia)
• Belgian waffles with chocolate ganache or berry compote (Belgium)

You can also enjoy event-exclusive alcoholic and nonalcoholic (NA) drinks, including:

• Frozen caipirinha (Brazil)
• Passion fruit bubble tea (China) (NA)
• Merlot and cabernet sauvignon blend (France)
• Bourbon barrel pumpkin ale (American Adventure)
• Guinness and Baileys shake (Ireland)
• Mango lassi (India) (NA)
• Frozen mocha cappuccino, with or without (NA) Godiva Liqueur (Joffrey’s Coffee)
• Limoncello margarita (Italy)
• Fig and cranberry cocktail (Morocco)

All guests receive a free festival passport. It lists all the food and drink options and where to buy them. As you eat around the world, mark off where you’ve visited by picking up stickers at each station.

Explore EPCOT with Remy and Emile

Young park guests can join Chef Remy on a rat-ical scavenger hunt.

To play Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, you’ll need to buy a treasure map and stickers from a festival merch stand. As you walk the World Showcase, search for statuettes of Remy. You may find him waving from a balcony, foraging for ingredients in the bushes, or getting ready to cook at one of the food booths. Whenever you spot EPCOT’s star chef, add a sticker to your map.

Once you’ve found all of Remy’s hiding spots, visit Disney Traders, Gateway Gifts, or World Traveler for a fun reward.

Remy’s brother Emile also has a legen-dairy mission for festivalgoers of all ages. You can join Emile’s Fromage Montage by buying five of the festival’s 10 cheesiest dishes. Collect a stamp in your festival passport every time you make a purchase.

Once you have five stamps, head to the Shimmering Sips marketplace and pick up a prize.

Rock Out at Eat to the Beat

The fan-favorite Eat to the Beat concert series is back for this year’s Food and Wine Festival. Each night, amazing musicians will hit the America Gardens Theatre stage.

On Friday-Monday nights, you can catch world-famous artists playing hits from the ‘70s to today. This year’s Eat to the Beat lineup includes festival fixtures like Sugar Ray, Billy Ocean, Christopher Cross, Tiffany, and .38 Special. New acts for 2022 include rapper Blanco Brown, alt-rockers Hoobastank, and Latin funk act Los Amigos Invisibles.

EPCOT will welcome some of Florida’s best party bands and tribute acts on Tuesdays-Thursdays.

First-come, first-served concert seating is included with your EPCOT ticket. But if one of your favorite musicians is coming, consider an Eat to the Beat Dining Package. The package consists of a three-course meal or buffet at one of six EPCOT restaurants, plus guaranteed seating at one of the day’s shows.

Celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary

The Most Magical Place on Earth is turning 50 this year.

As you dine and dance at EPCOT, take some time to celebrate this milestone. Stop by EPCOT’s Creations Shop for a limited-edition drink tumbler, retro T-shirt, or a commemorative Loungefly backpack. Or explore the Parisian culinary scene in the park’s new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride.
