The longest-running Fringe festival is back in Orlando for 14 days: May 12-25, 2020. Celebrating its 29th year, Fringe promises to be honest to its mission of being completely free of censorship, absolutely accessible and inclusive, and to give all sales back to the artists.
Located in and around Loch Haven Park, Orlando Fringe offers unique shows plus many other activities that the entire family will enjoy.
Kids Fringe: Activities for children and families from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays during Orlando Fringe
Visual Fringe: Celebrating visual artists and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone
Fringers of the Future: Teens and pre-teens can try their hand at writing, producing, and performing in their own shows
The Outdoor Stage: Offers live music throughout Orlando Fringe
Food and Beverages: Grab a bite to eat from one of the numerous food vendors at Orlando Fringe or purchase adult beverages at the Beer or Booze Tent (cash only)
There is no cost to enter the Fringe festival grounds and parking is free as well. In order to see the shows, anyone 13 and older will need a $10 Fringe button, as well as a show ticket which can range anywhere from $0-$12. Each ticket also comes with a $1.25 processing fee required by the ticket company. Remember that Fringe is uncensored, so before you buy tickets be sure to check out at the ratings. Shows are rated either 7+, 13+, or 18+.
There are no refunds or exchanges unless the show is canceled.
Cash and card are accepted for ticket purchases, and there is an ATM available.
Fringe runs off donations, so don’t be shy if you have any extra cash around (or card or check).
The Festival grounds are open 5 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekends. Box office hours vary, but tickets are available 24/7 online.
Most fringe shows are 60 minutes; the maximum is 90 minutes.
