Begin SOARIN’ Worldwide Soon at Epcot
The time to take flight is near! Beginning June, 17, 2016 Walt Disney World will reopen the SOARIN’ ride at Epcot. Fans can start hang gliding around the world while they get a bird’s eye view of famous landmarks. If losing the original version of the ride that tells the California story is too heartbreaking, Disney is giving guests one last chance to take it all in. From May 27 through June 16, 2016, patrons can say their final goodbye’s as they experience the final flights to California. The new attraction, however, seems to be even more of a delight.
When the ride reopens, guests will soar over sites like the Great Wall of China, Matterhorn in Switzerland, and Sydney Harbor in Australia. Guests should be prepared for a sensory experience as they’ll feel the breeze as they glide, hear sounds associated with each landmark, and smell a variety of new scents. Disney knew all this excitement was too much for just two theatres, so they added a third theater to allow more patrons to experience the flight of a lifetime.
